Tour of Italy U23 – Grégoire, Martinez … finally the 1st French coronation?

Thomas Pidcock (INEOS Grenadiers), Alexander Vlasov (BORA-hansgrohe), Juan Ayuso (United Arab Emirates Team), Mattia Cattaneo (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) … all these familiar names are now on the list Tour of Italy U23commonly called Baby Giro. This means that this race, reserved for Espoirs, runners under the age of 23, is worthy of the Future Tower when it comes to revealing upcoming champions. With its seven varied stages in northern Italy, the Italian competition, which began on Saturday, will capture the full attention of managers … and well-informed spectators!

Footage – Romain Grégoire, favorite of the Espoirs Tour d’Italia 2022?

Who will succeed Juan Ayuso in 2022?

No less than thirty-five teams of five drivers are expected to depart for Gradara. Among them, some names stand out, although it is characteristic of the Tour of Italy U23 is to reveal it again. We can think about it Fran Miholjevic (Friuli ASD), winner of the Carpathian messenger career and a step of Return to Sicilyas well as Alex Baudin (Tudor Pro Cycling Team), 2nd in Tour of Great Britain 2022. The reservation team Groupama FDJ however it acts as a scarecrow with Romain Gregoire as a leader, the one who won Liege-Bastogne-Liege U23but also with Lenny Martinez, excellent climber. These two riders seem to have the potential to offer French cycling its first crown in the world Tour of Italy Hopes. For the stage victories, the Dutch sprinter will also have to be watched Casper van Uden (Development Team DSM), which should recover a few bouquets during this week of racing.
