The Tour de France 2022, which takes place from 1 to 24 July, will host the best cyclists in the world as usual. Several races will be followed within the race during the 21 stages drawn by France, but also in Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland. The yellow jersey, the green jersey, the legendary polka dot jersey of the best climber, the stage victories, the combat prize … are the different challenges for which the 176 riders involved in the 109th edition of the Grande Boucle will compete.

Tadej Pogacar, the man to beat!

They are all there! All the best cyclists on the planet, ready to discover with the current number 1, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates). At 23, the Slovenian driver will try to win a third consecutive title in the most beautiful stage race in the world. Among his opponents is another Slovenian Primoz Roglic who will be able to count especially on his teammate Jonas Vingegaard in search of victory. Unless the roles are reversed at one time or another between the two riders on the Jumbo-Visma team. Among the opponents able to play a major role in this Grande Boucle 2022, the Australian Ben’Oconnor (Ag2r Citroën) could create a surprise, as long as you are in the shape of your life. And how not to integrate into the list of candidates for victory a certain Romain Bardet (Team DSM) who will definitely get his best Tour de Franceand in view of what he began to show in the last Tour of Italy.

The other big favorites in the succession of “Pogi” are runners of the caliber of Enric Mas (Movistar), Aleksandr Vlasov (Bora-hansgrohe), Nairobi Quintana (Arkéa Samsic), Damià Caruso, Jack Haig (Bahrain-Victorious) and of course the trio of the British team INEOS-Grenadiers to meet Geraint Thomas, Dani Martinez and Adam Yates.
