On Saturday (6 p.m.), Racing Club Narbonnais travel to Albi for the last game of the block. Before this meeting, three players have played the first three matches. A new guarantee of continuity desired by the RCN staff.
RC Narbonnais has already reached the end of the first block of this season in National 1. During the first three days – victory against Nice 17 to 9, defeat to Bourgoin-Jallieu 26-15 and victory against Suresnes 21 to 15 – the staff del Racing used 30 players. A continuity wanted and desired by Julien Seron, Brice Mach and Sébastien Logerot. Three of them have played 240 minutes, or all three games.
Valentin Sese (second row)
Substituted in the second row this season, having played in the third last season, Valentin Sese is at his advantage at the start of the championship. Fighter, tackler and also very good with the ball in hand, he is one of the important players in this squad. Along with Mauro Rebussone or Mohamed Kbaier, the 25-year-old has not yet left the composition of the team, not even during a meeting, proof of his good performance since the start of the season!
Sébastien Giorgis (winger, then center)
After landing in the off-season in Gruissan, Sébastien Giorgis has returned to Narbonne. A return on capital. Always clean in everything he does, both in attack and defence, the center/winger scored Racing’s first try of the season against Nice. Winger on this first day, then starter at number 12 for Bourgoin-Jallieu and against Suresnes, he seems to flourish in this club he knows well.
Pierre-Hugo Ducom (winger)
He also has something to do with the performance of RC Narbonnais. Pierre-Hugo Ducom is in very good form. Very solid in defence, clinical in attack, the 27-year-old was the author of a magnificent try at the end of the line against Bourgoin-Jallieu. A lethal weapon for this team in Nacional 1.
In these players, we could have added center Pierre Nueno who started three times and has never been substituted. Explosive, explosive and in great form, the ex-Section Paloise player was yellow carded against Nice and therefore missed ten minutes, short of his 240 minutes.
It should be noted that three players have also surpassed the mark of 200 minutes played: Thibault Clauzade (235 minutes), Paul Belzons (210) and Paul Auradou (208).

Paul Belzons lost against Albi
Captain for the last two days in the absence of Flavien Nouhaillaguet (expected for the next block), Paul Belzons will miss the trip to Albi on Saturday. The third line, one of the central pieces of the Narbonne system, recently received a lumbar level infiltration. The RCN staff voluntarily sacrificed this last game of the block so that Belzons would be available for the next meeting, against Valence-Romans (Saturday, October 8 at 6.30 p.m.), for the big clash of the day.
James Kane should not travel to Albi. Touched on the back after the game against Suresnes (21-15 win), the Australian full-back has not trained since the beginning of the week.
Replaced by Jordan Rochier after a minute, Christophe David suffered concussion against Suresnes last Saturday. Also hit in the shoulder, the hooker can’t play this last block encounter against Albi.
